The Park Provence Experience

Park Provence consists of 82 beautifully appointed live-in apartments, with an entire floor that caters exclusively to memory care residents. There are 15 different suite floor plans for residents to choose from, and each offers a full kitchen that includes a refrigerator, microwave, pantry, and sink, as well as its own air conditioning unit to control individual climate. Personalized care and support is provided based upon the particular needs of each resident.

Residents that require minimal assistance with day-to-day activities can enjoy an independent lifestyle without the stress of managing a household, while residents with memory impairment are provided with a higher level of assistance and care that includes individualized programs customized to enrich their lives and enable them to function at their highest possible level. Small animals are even accepted at Park Provence- we understand the importance of bringing your best friend along with you! Susan Pappalardo

Park Provence, Executive Director


Susan is a seasoned veteran in the assisted living industry- she served as both an Activities Director and an Executive Director at other communities prior to her start at Park Provence in 2002 and she is known throughout the Northshore for her experience and expertise. Over the many years Susan has spent as head of the Park Provence community, she has worked diligently to build and retain a highly developed management team, most of whom have been with Park Provence since her arrival. Through sound guidance and leadership, Susan has cultivated the excellent reputation that Park Provence has today. Susan graduated from Louisiana State University with a Bachelor of Arts in Political Science. She resides in Mandeville with her family, and she keeps very busy watching over her residents and spending time with her two sons.

Audrey Baker

Park Provence,Director Of Business Development


Audrey brings years of experience, since 2002, into her role as the Director of Business Development at Park Provence. Described as the quintessential “hostess with the mostest” by all who know her, Audrey’s warm and welcoming demeanor makes Park Provence truly feel like home to residents, team members, and guests. Audrey graduated from Louisiana Tech University with a Bachelor of Arts in Journalism, and served as an Executive Director, Regional Sales Director, and Business Development Director at other assisted living communities before becoming part of the Park Provence family. Audrey is extremely active within the Slidell community- the past President of the Northshore Alzheimer’s Association and current co-chair of the St. Tammany Walk to End Alzheimer's. She has served on the Executive Board of the Louisiana Assisted Living Association (LALA), and the Hospice Foundation of the South. A huge animal lover, Audrey has successfully turned Park Provence into an extremely pet-friendly community with the help of her beloved one-eyed pooch Chloe, who is a constant presence and comfort to the residents of Park Provence. Audrey resides in Slidell with her husband Johnny, with whom she shares four beautiful daughters.
